Level One:

Introduction to LI including theory on memory, trauma, and attachment. Introduction of the construction and use of the client’s timeline. A review
of the stages of therapy and tools to use in the therapeutic process.

Protocols covered in this training include Baseline Protocol, PTSD Protocol, Prenatal Baseline, Timeline from Explicit Memory, and Relationship Protocol.

Level Two:

A more in depth review of LI foundations and a focus on the impact of trauma and how to recover. 

Protocols covered in this training include Standard Protocol (trauma processing) and Baseline Plus variations.

Level Three:

Introduction to attachment theory, the role of attunement in LI and implications for trauma therapy. 

Protocols covered in this training are Attunement Protocol and Birth Protocol which are “core building” protocols and help people attend to attachment repair.

Level Four:

Deepening of understanding of the use of the timeline for memory reconsolidation, repairing early attachment wounding and addressing intergenerational trauma. 

Protocols covered in this training include Preverbal Attachment Repair, Cell Being Protocol and Deepened and Expanded Baseline plus.

Requirements:

Training is open to counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical doctors.

Trainees must have at a minimum completed their masters level education or be a student currently seeing clients. Training levels must be taken in chronological order.

Meet the Trainers

Kelly Adler

Trainer

Kelly Adler is an experienced trainer, consultant, and certified counsellor. She offers trainings across Canada and provides consultation internationally (both in person and online). Kelly has specific expertise in C-PTSD, PTSD, reproductive mental health and eating disorders.

Kelly is also the owner and operator of a clinical practice in Vancouver, BC which offers LI therapy from a team of highly experienced LI therapists. Kelly is passionate about the incredible power and possibility for healing that LI offers. She has helped numerous people to heal and integrate and never tires of witnessing the incredible transformation that people can make through LI’s protocols.

As a consultant and trainer, she aims to be approachable, warm and direct. She wants those new to LI to have a welcoming and enjoyable experience as they learn this incredibly valuable tool.

Rachel Weinstein

Facilitator

Rachel Weinstein is a certified lifespan clinician, consultant and facilitator. Rachel is also a trainer-in-training for LI in Canada.

Rachel has experience working with complex trauma and PTSD, emotion dysregulation, anxiety and eating disorders. Rachel is passionate about her work with the LGBTQ+ community.

Rachel works in private practice in New Westminster BC, and meets
with clients in person and virtually. Rachel continues to witness profound healing and deep growth with her clients that have trusted the process
of LI.

Rachel is available to support clinicians personal work with LI, and for individual and group consultation.

Certification

Clinicians interested in certification will need to complete the following:

1. Completion of Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 trainings
2. Personal work by a certified Lifespan Integration therapist
3. Consultation with a primary consultant who is also a trainer
4. Consultation with a secondary consultant who is related to your clinical specialty or population

(Consultation hours should be approx. 12 hours over the course of 1 year)
